DAN HEMMERT ELECTED BY ACCLAMATION IN SD14 TO FILL MIDTERM VACANCY

Dan Hemmert was elected over the weekend (8/6) at the Lone Peak High School by UCRP delegates, to filling the midterm vacancy created in Senate District 14 by the resignation of Senator Al Jackson. Congratulations to Dan and his family. We look forward to his work and representation in the northeast corner of our county.

Chairman Frank and Secretary Kristen Chevrier certified the election and sent that certification to the Party’s Liaison, State Party Chairman James Evans. Evans will interface directly with Governor Gary Herbert, and the governor will make that appointment.
