If you would like to run in the Utah County Assessor Special Election, please complete and submit the following information:
Eligibility: “Any candidate who was registered as a Republican in the most recent general election and is currently eligible to file as a Republican candidate may file for a midterm vacancy.” – Utah County Republican Party Bylaw 7B
AND: “…be a state-licensed or state-certified appraiser before filing a declaration of candidacy for the office of county assessor.” – Utah Code 17-17-2 (2)(b)(ii)
Also, candidates must reside within Utah County.
Eligibility of each candidate will be verified by the party before the election.
