I have a deep respect for our governing documents because they are critical to ensuring a fair process for everyone to be heard and give input in our party. The Constitution and Bylaws Committee helps to ensure that our documents are consistent and clear and that they serve the best interests of all involved. I want to aid those proposing changes to help each proposal be of the highest quality before the Central Committee or delegates vote on changes.
I'm sorry I cannot be with you all in person at the meeting. Unfortunately, I have had to travel for a family emergency to see my ailing 100 year-old father before he dies from a recent illness.
